No. When you subscribe, you send your swimmers an invite link and they get full access at no cost. The whole point is to make it as easy as possible for them to actually use it.
It's handled directly from your coach dashboard. When a swimmer signs up and requests to join your squad, you review and either approve or decline them. During approval, you mark whether the swimmer is under 16 or 16 and over. For swimmers 16 and over, they're approved straight away and they're in. For under-16s, you enter a parent or guardian's email and a consent request is sent automatically. The swimmer only gets access once the parent approves through that email. You can see the consent status of every swimmer in your dashboard at a glance. This keeps you fully compliant with GDPR (EU), the Children's Act (Ireland), and COPPA (US) — no paper forms, no spreadsheets, all handled digitally and stored securely. Read our Privacy Policy.
